choose an artist

The first step towards getting your new tattoo is choosing which artist you feel best suits your idea.  Take a look at our artists' portfolios.

consultation appointment

Some of our artists prefer an in person consultation for custom tattoos.  At this appointment, you and your artist will discuss the details of your new tattoo idea.

booking an appointment

Please visit your artists' page for booking details.  All tattoo appointments require a non-refundable deposit that will be credited to the price of your tattoo.  Appointments rescheduled with less than 24 hour notice will require a new deposit.

getting your tattoo

On the day of your tattoo appointment; remember to bring your ID,  wear appropriate clothing with easy accessibility to the area you are getting tattooed, and don't forget to eat and hydrate.

aftercare

After your tattoo session, your artist will bandage your new tattoo and review aftercare instructions with you in detail.  We use two styles of bandaging;  standard plastic bandage and "Recovery Derm" or similar bandage.  Your artist will discuss the bandage they feel best suits you and your tattoo.  Please inform your artist of any skin sensitivities or allergies to tape or adhesives you may have.

If your artist uses a standard plastic bandage, remove bandage within 1-2 hours.

Wash your tattoo immediately after removing your bandage with unscented liquid soap.  Use clean hands to wash your tattoo, stay away from sponges, washcloths, luffas ect.  Once your tattoo is rinsed thoroughly, pat dry with a clean towel. Apply a thin layer of the moisturizer your artist recommends.  Repeat this process 3 times daily  approximately 10 days.  After 10 days, reduce washing to once a day, and switch to an unscented lotion if preferred.

If your artist bandages you with Recovery Derm, leave your bandage on for 3-5 days.  It is normal for liquid to collect and dry under this breathable barrier.

Repeat this process 3 times daily for approximately 7 days.  After 7 days, reduce washing to once a day, and switch to an unscented lotion if preferred.

*If the area bandaged stretches and moves considerably, you may notice some irritation at the edges of the bandage from pulling at the skin.  If you notice extreme redness of non-tattooed skin under Recovery Derm, remove the bandage and start washing/moisturizing process above.

Your healing tattoo will itch and shed, do not scratch or pick at your healing tattoo.  It takes about 4 weeks for your tattoo to completely heal.

Feel free to call us for any additional aftercare questions!

touch-ups

After your tattoo is completely healed, if anything is less than perfect, we offer free touch-ups for up to 6 months after the tattoo procedure.  Some exclusions apply, please discuss with your artist about their touch up requirements.
